Avatars are AI-generated models that wear your products in videos and photos. VideoPoint fits your garments from flat-lay or product photos onto avatars, creating realistic visuals of people wearing your items.

Pre-made avatars

VideoPoint includes 50+ pre-made avatars available on all plans. These avatars represent a range of body shapes, skin tones, heights, facial expressions, and poses. You can browse and select them in AI Studio when creating content.

Pre-made avatars are ready to use immediately. Select one, choose a product, and generate.

Custom avatars

On the Basic plan and above, you can create custom avatars that match your brand's look and target audience. Custom avatars can be generated from:

• A text prompt. Describe the avatar you want (age, appearance, pose, expression) and VideoPoint generates it.
• A reference photo. Upload a reference image and VideoPoint creates an avatar based on that look.
• Both. Combine a reference photo with a text prompt for precise control.

Custom avatars are saved to your account and can be reused across all future content.

Why avatars matter

Avatars let you show your products on diverse, relatable models without hiring real people or scheduling photo shoots. You can represent any body shape, skin tone, and style, making your products accessible to a broad audience.

For social media and ads, avatars can also function as AI influencers. Generate consistent content with the same avatar persona across posts to build a recognizable presence.

Tips for better avatar results

• Provide both front and back product photos. This helps the AI accurately render how the garment looks from behind.
• Use product photos on a white or plain background for the cleanest results.
• When creating custom avatars, be specific about pose and expression. "Standing relaxed, looking at the camera, neutral expression" gets more consistent results than a vague description.
