Importing Social Content

You do not need to create every video from scratch. VideoPoint lets you import existing videos from Instagram and TikTok and turn them into shoppable content on your store.

What you can import

VideoPoint auto-imports videos from your connected social accounts, including:

• Your own Instagram Reels and posts
• Instagram collaborations and mentions
• Your TikTok videos

Imported content includes testimonials, product demos, reviews, behind-the-scenes footage, unboxing videos, and any other video content you have already published on social media.

How to import

1. Go to Shoppable Video in your VideoPoint dashboard.
2. Click Import or navigate to the social import section.
3. Connect your Instagram or TikTok account if you have not already.
4. VideoPoint will pull in your recent videos automatically.

Once connected, new videos are imported on an ongoing basis. You do not need to manually import each time you post.

Making imported content shoppable

After importing, tag products in each video:

1. Select an imported video.
2. Use AI Product Tagging to let VideoPoint automatically detect and tag the products shown in the video.
3. Review the tags and adjust if needed.
4. Add the video to a shoppable widget.

You can also set up auto-add rules so new imported videos are automatically assigned to the right widgets based on product tags.

Why this matters

Your best-performing social content already has proven engagement. By bringing it onto your store as shoppable video, you turn that engagement into direct sales. Shoppers see real content (UGC, influencer videos, behind-the-scenes clips) and can buy immediately without leaving the experience.
