Your First AI Video

This guide walks you through creating your first product video in VideoPoint. The process takes a few minutes from start to finish.

Open AI Studio

From your VideoPoint dashboard, click AI Studio. This is the workspace where all content creation happens. You will see two ways to get started: the chat interface (AI Creator) and the template library.

Option A: Use a template

Templates are the fastest path to a finished video. Each template is designed for a specific use case and guides you step by step.

1. Click Templates in AI Studio.
2. Browse the available options. Popular starting points include Runway Walk Turnaround for fashion videos and Product 360 for clean product rotation clips.
3. Select a template.
4. Choose a product from your catalog. VideoPoint will pull in the product images automatically.
5. Follow the template prompts (select an avatar, choose a background, adjust settings).
6. Click Generate.

Option B: Use AI Creator

If you prefer to describe what you want, use the chat interface.

1. Open AI Creator in AI Studio.
2. Type a description of the video you want. For example: "Create a runway walk video for this dress on a beach background."
3. Add a product from your catalog by clicking the product selector.
4. AI Creator will generate the video based on your description.

You can prompt in any language. Voice input is also available for faster workflows.

What to expect

Most 5-second videos generate in under a few minutes. The exact time depends on the template, resolution, and current demand. Once the video is ready, you can preview it, download it, or send it directly to a shoppable widget.

Product photo tips

Your existing Shopify product images are enough to get started. For the best results with avatar-based videos, provide both front and back photos of the garment. This helps the AI render accurate rear-view visuals.
